2023 EBNET 3D VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

The 2023 3-D EBnet Virtual Conference and Expo was a huge success and we want to thank our sponsors, speakers and all attendees for their participation.

We went to great lengths to ensure we utilise a stable game platform to host the event on and for the large majority of our participants the experience was very smooth with no technology challenges. However, there were a small minority of attendees that were experiencing connectivity issues and we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to them – unfortunately internet service delivery is not under our control and it fluctuates. We will continue to find innovative ways to streamline this experience even more as we continue to develop this new concept each year.

Aside from using a unique gamification methodology and presenting all our exhibition stands and speakers in a virtual online environment, another big differentiator that found huge favour with attendees, was that our conference had no set time limitations for specific items and talks. The conference opened at 08h00 on Monday 23 October 2023 and remained open 24/7 till 17h00 on Friday 27 October 2023. This way attendees were able to manage all their other commitments during this busy time of the year and still attend our conference at times suited to them. Interestingly, and perhaps as a result of the busy time of the year, we received several requests to remain open for the weekend after the conference to allow for continued viewing of the elements and various speaker talks. As a result, the conference remained open over the weekend. We did however close the points count for prize points at 17h00 on Friday 27 October 2023 and are delighted to announce the winners of the 3 prizes. Well done to the winners and we hope the extra exposure to the content gave you added insight into the various topics and exhibitors!
