Sandton, 9 November 2017 – Alexander Forbes has launched a new innovative business called Alexander Forbes Empower with a mission to empower customers to achieve better outcomes, through developing a lifelong relationship with education and learning.
In partnership with Degreed, a San Francisco, US based organisation, Alexander Forbes introduces a new on-line learning portal that provides access to educational and skills content for both employers and employees.
“We are bringing a best-in-class lifelong learning platform to our pan-African client base to deliver human capital and financial education programmes through a single source,” says Andrew Darfoor, Alexander Forbes Group Chief Executive.
He says Alexander Forbes Empower has been created to empower employees reach their full potential through a continuous learning and skills development approach, as part of an integrated approach to achieving lifetime financial well-being.
Darfoor says the partnership with Degreed will enable Alexander Forbes Empower to integrate an organisation’s internal learning systems and partner this content with the world's largest ecosystem of open learning resources, creating a unique and personalised learning experience.
