EBnet acquires Pensions World Magazine!
In an exciting development for the pensions industry in South and Southern Africa, EBnet has purchased Pensions World SA.
Pensions World SA is a quarterly journal that includes articles from employee benefit practitioners throughout the spectrum of organisations in the pensions industry.
This enablement further steps up the entire digitisation of the now combined Pension World / EBnet market presence to unrivalled levels in this unique segment to the benefit of our readers and advertisers alike and we are excited by the new opportunities this brings to the retirement industry and its stakeholders, says Chris Brits, CEO of EBnet.
The format of the magazine will also be overhauled and updated so that it's no longer just a PDF file, but upgraded to the latest e-magazine interactive format with clickable hyperlinks to external resources / websites / surveys, etc. The new format will also include a full section on education.
Both the IRFA and the FPI have agreed to endorse and affiliate with us and CPD points for educational content will be made available, says David Weil, Managing Editor of Pensions World SA and CEO, ICTS Group of Companies.
EBnet is a unique digital retirement industry knowledge portal in South and Southern Africa with the widest digital footprint in the industry. EBnet’s main focus is on retirement funds but not in isolation. The EBnet distribution platform consists of e-mails to over 12,000 subscribers, several times a week with a weekly industry summary at the end of the week. Between 7,000 – 10,000 printed copies will be distributed into the industry on a quarterly basis with the 1st edition due out in March 2020.
