FSCA takes precautionary measures to limit spread of COVID-19
As we monitor developments relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) will be taking precautionary measures in the interest of containing the pandemic, to protect our staff, the sector and to support Government efforts.
The FSCA will enable remote working and use technology to facilitate all meetings but will suspend all face-to-face engagements with external stakeholders, including walk-in clients at its Pretoria offices, until further notice.
We’ve also taken the following measures to further mitigate risks associated with Covid-19:
All planned FSCA events and initiatives such as roadshows, workshops and seminars are postponed.
All enquiries relating to Licensing and Business Centre activities will be dealt with via e-mail or telephone.
All on-sites inspections have been cancelled and new dates will be communicated to the affected financial institutions.
Desk top supervision will continue as normal and electronic engagement with financial institutions will be ongoing.
Financial customers may call the toll-free number on 0800 20 37 22 or email email@example.com for remote assistance during this period. Please visit www.fsca.co.za or check our social media pages for any new updates as we continue to monitor the situation.
