Innovation & Technology

To evolve is to change or develop into a better, more advanced state. Each innovation building on the previous to create continuous improvement and better outcomes for those we serve.

In our industry, innovation can range from the most simplistic explanation of financial planning that improves savings or a member’s experience, to apps that improve engagement, to products and technology that challenges and changes thinking or doing.

EBnet acknowledges these improvements and the way they move us all forward, evolving into a better future for South Africans.

The Evolutionaries.

Evolutionaries are those creative thinkers who challenge the status quo to improve outcomes for fund members and individual investors. They move the dial in a way that has meaningful impact for those they serve.

We appreciate that even the most humble spark can be a detonator for growth, efficiency or upliftment. And we want to recognise and share those ideas and technologies with the industry.

Please send us your evolutions for consideration and publishing.

Those published will be profiled at our annual EBnet conference, where we will allow conference delegates and industry stakeholders to vote for their favourites in each of our categories.

In a world of continuous improvements, we recognise the evolutionaries at our annual EBnet virtual conference by way of a peoples’ choice voting system. To evolve is to change or develop slowly into a better, more advanced state. Each innovation building on the previous to create continuous improvement and better outcomes.

The categories for the Annual EBnet Evolutionary Awards are:

  • Evolution in improving member outcomes
  • Evolution in employee benefits and advice
  • Evolution in investments

Any idea, process or technology that you have implemented that you believe betters outcomes for industry stakeholders is worthy of considering.
