This year’s EBnet Evolutionaries Conference will take place from 6-10 October 2025.
The EBnet Evolutionaries Conference is an annual 3-D virtual conference, an event that has historically attracted between 700 – 1 000 attendees from a wide range of funds and service providers in the retirement and investment industry.
The conference showcases relevant innovation and technology that is improving the retirement fund industry in South Africa i.e. evolutions. From a Speaker’s Auditorium covering relevant thought leadership and new solutions, to a range of Evolutionary Rooms where new innovations compete to be the Evolutionary Award winners. The conference brings you quality content in a user-friendly format – the only conference where you can come and go as you please, and not miss a thing!
We believe the conference has a unique place in the market:
- The conference is open over a full week and for a full 24 hours a day adds to this convenience,
- Attendees are able to consume the content that they want, not having to sit through talks that don’t interest or pertain to them,
- All conference content (speakers and award entries) is made available through www.ebnet.co.za once the conference has closed, giving longevity to the talks and additional value to the speakers/entries,
- Verified CPD hours – in 2025 we estimate that 20 verified CPD hours will be available, at no cost,

We’ll be focusing on the good and bad of the ever increasing technological and data revolution we are experiencing and highlighting areas of opportunity to improve outcomes, and areas of risk that require mitigation. As per usual, we will also be celebrating and voting for this year’s Evolutionary Awards nominees and winners.
